The handles on your doors wear out over time and need to be replaced. When doing this it is important that the new handles are in line with the dimensions of the handle that was previously used.

The three measurements to be inspected are the top screw's location the lever and key hole sizes. Refer to the size guide for assistance with this.

Inline Lever/Lever

The door handles made of uPVC/Composite are made of sturdy materials and are suitable for multi-point lock doors that require a heavy duty design. The handles are inline and use the same screws and spindle to secure them. They can be easily mounted on any uPVC/Composite doors.

The design of the sprung lever allows the handle to be placed and angled to provide a comfortable grip and is suitable for all users. Lever Pad

The design of most newer cylinders has anti-drilling and bump resistance features. These are designed to reduce the chance of a attack by forcing the cylinder to rotate in a different direction. This can help to deflect an attack and ensure your door is secure.

There are also cylinders that are made to withstand snapping. This is a typical attack on cylinders. A specially designed tool is used to break the break line of the lock, and the front of the cylinder is snapped off. This is a much faster and easier way to gain access than a multipoint locking system. It also leaves less evidence of the burglary which can hinder insurance claims.

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is situated inside the base plate of the door handle. It provides a sprung solution to help return your multipoint lock handles back to their original position after using. Previously a lot of these types of handle didn't have a spring built into them, and without it they tend to droop or 'drop' once the locking mechanism is removed. Adding this simple component is one of the best ways to correct this, and is a great way to prevent your doors made of upvc from becoming stuck in an open or closed position, since they aren't always simple to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specially designed for use with multipoint locks that are sprung, they will not fit multipoint handles that are not sprung and you will need to have a hole specifically cut in your backplate to allow these to fit (please look at the image for a technical diagram).
