1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for urban dwellers as well as jet-setters. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be converted to a stroller by 6 months with the YOYO connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great option for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller wagon. The Evenflo Pivot can be converted from a stroller into the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then choose which one is the best fit for their journey. The wagon can accommodate two or more children between 6 months to five years old. It has a large storage basket that can hold everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that rotate from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This isn't suitable for long journeys or napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and it isn't able to lock securely once folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored highly in our Strollers and Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact single stroller when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk for your car. It also has a multi-position reclined seat and cup holders for the parent. Other important features include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels as well as two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling.

In our test of push and turn, it did better than the majority of other cheap strollers we test, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we test. They only cover the top, and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and no components required tools. However, it's missing some essential features that we think you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller, like a large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to carry infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years, converting easily into a seat and carrycot by just only a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and reversible carriage.

It's a breeze to manoeuvre and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and was able to pass through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to rotate which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. When we walked on the stony path, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well although it did seem a little bumpier than others that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its three-wheeled, all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also produce a wide range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits in the boot of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers we tried, but the wheels are a rubber composite so it feels well-made and durable. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all kinds of terrain, and it's also a breeze to lift, even when loaded with two kids and a shopping bag.

Both the seat and carrycot have hoods that are able to be lower to reveal a UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of food items. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies that weigh up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you need a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents everywhere. It is an aluminium-framed stroller that can be used from the infant's earliest days through. It has many standout features, like the capacity of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside, a large UPF50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

The seat is reclined in several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect - it's not as silent as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It can be used with two single infant stroller car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be set so that they face each other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. The Thule Urban glide 2 is the perfect jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers that you can buy your child. It also comes with great safety features, like a 5-point safety harness and wrist safety strap. It has a different type of hand brake than other models that are a twist.

The seat is well-padded and has plenty of room to sit, but the depth of the seat is not as deep as other joggers we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin is equipped with a zippered cover to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's simple to fold and assemble in 5-10 minutes without any tools. The user manual is easy to read and is available in multiple languages.
